Catherine is a friendly, dedicated professional committed to ensuring every patient’s experience of the physiotherapy profession is the best it possibly can be.

She is Clinical Lead at Rex Physiotherapy, specialising in Motorsport and treating patients of all ages from both non-sporting and sporting backgrounds.

Cath finished her degree qualifying  top of her intake and in the top 10% nationally, with First Class Honours from Bradford University. Previous appointments include  the Charter-Mark Award Winning physiotherapy team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS, Capio Yorkshire Clinic, Airedale NHS, and Nobles Hospital.

Selected as the Isle of Man Team  Physiotherapist for the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games, Catherine is experienced in treating international athletes from a wide variety of sporting backgrounds, (Commonwealth Games, Commonwealth Youth Games, Island Games, Isle of Man Institute of Sport, Isle of Man Cyclefest).

Catherine has been the official physiotherapy provider for Isle of Man Cyclefest since it began and will continue to develop the service into 2018.

Instrumental in establishing, developing and providing the physiotherapy service for the TT and The Southern 100, She was asked to become the Physiotherapy provider for the Manx GP and Classic TT making her the most experienced physio in road racing on the Isle of Man. She was Consultant Physiotherapist on ITV4’s Documentary covering Conor Cummins’ return to recovery and appeared in TT3D Closer to the Edge.  She sponsors the Enduro World Champion Jamie McCanney, and has provided his physiotherapy since 2010.  Rex physiotherapy provides sponsorship for a number of local and international competitors from the world of enduro, endurance, circuit and road racing.

Catherine is a qualified clnical educator, committed to professional development, offering student placements at events.  She currently teaches on the Overseas Nurses Conversion Programme (Care of the Elderly).
